Scott,
When utilizing multiple private off grid nodes you will need to add the IP
of the other nodes in each others rpt.conf [nodes] section.
If a Pi server contains more than a single node you must have a Stanza
created in the rpt.conf file for each (multiple) node number on that
server.
Within each Stanza for every node number the [nodes] section will need all
the other private node IP and port info.
Basically you get to build your own private lookup without the need for
registering elsewhere when using private nodes.
Since private nodes can utilize their own choice of node numbers I have a
hard time seeing how you could have a global lookup or registration with
many nodes possibly having the same numbers.
Then again maybe I'm not following the intent of what you are asking.
