[arm-allstar] Virtual com port Raspberry Pi Hamvoip

Looks like it needs remote qth server installed on a raspberry somewhere, then the remote hamvoip raspberry and my windows 7 computer can connect through it to establish the wanted com port path.   All three would have to be connected via vpn if the remote QTH server will support it. 
I was hoping there was a easier way.
