Christmas came early, Thank You David.
I will let you know how I make out, I was about to send a long explanation
email and saw you sent me more info, good thing I read it.
The socat didn't work on vmware windows 7 on windows 10 laptop or on my
windows 7 professional desktop.
I will download and play with ser2net.
