Hi Dusty,

I ordered one of the PC TEMPer2 sensors from Amazon and got it last
Friday. I was unable to find a query program for this exact device after
goog'ling around for a while, so I wrote a simple brute-force tool, based
on earlier code. Please give this solution a try, to make sure it works
with your sensor. To install, go to a bash prompt (admin menu #9) and
install with pacman, like:

pacman -Sy hamvoip-sensors

The program for this exact model is named: temper2_V3.7 ...With the
TEMPer2 sensor plugged into the RPi, run this command and you should see
output similar to:

root at david-ryzen9:/export/rpi/# temper2_V3.7
DATE|VERSION|TEMP1C|TEMP1F|TEMP2C|TEMP2F|HIDDEV
2021-12-03-04:12:10|TEMPer2_V3.7|24.43|75.97|19.81|67.65|/dev/hidraw5

The output is a CSV style layout, using "pipe" ('|' vertical bars)
characters as the field delimiters. The software is a simple bash script,
at this point (see the file: /usr/local/sbin/temper2_V3.7), so
modification, as needed, is easy.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
