Sounds like your TX level might be too low. Go into the settings via SSH and run simple usb tune menu.

Believe it’s selection 8 in the simple usb menu.

The Alinco is in Simplex mode on low power on 446.50 and I get the periodic announcements from the Raspberry Pi on an HT tuned to the same frequency as well as on the Alinco. I can connect / disconnect to remote nodes using the Asterisk command line: "rpt fun 54265 *73<node>" or "rpt fun 54265 *73<node>".

However, I did receive an email from an admin stating: Your node Periodically is locking up a ptt. Your your node is getting interference making it key up? Please use a pl tone on your receive and or Resolve the issue." I think that person blocked me from trying to reconnect to that node.

I wish there was an Allstar testing location / node such as exists for Skype where you can connect to an Allstar test number/node and it plays back your audio a few seconds later so you could hear what your audio sounds like to adjust it.
