Don't know if it will help but a quick google search sent me here -

In order to process RX audio COS must be active - either high (usb) or low
(usbinvert) at pin 8 of the DMK URI - This is set in item J of
simpleusb-tune-menu  and can be seen in the V (view) option as COS INPUT.
It will show KEYED if active or CLEAR if not.I
