Thanks Steve, apparently the 3 minute Tx tot failed (?) on the ID-51 as
I didn't hear any of the warning beeps, and the default 5 minute tot in
hamvoip's rpt.conf and my beating my gums together caused the problem:
# grep "^rx_timeout" /etc/asterisk/rpt.conf
rx_timeout=300000
rx_timeout=300000
This has been remedied to 2 min 59 sec. with:
# sed -i 's|rx_timeout=300000|rx_timeout=179000|g'
/etc/asterisk/rpt.conf && astres.sh
# grep "^rx_timeout" /etc/asterisk/rpt.conf
rx_timeout=179000
rx_timeout=179000
