Ken,
This issue could be several problems, the most likely being a ground
loop, power supply issues/spikes or maybe RF getting into the fob.
How is the 888 radio powered? How far is the 888 antenna from the fob?
I don't think I've encountered any issues with fobs getting RF overload
from an 888, but I haven't tried this type testing lately, nor tried with
a RIM-Lite.
