[arm-allstar] iOS Hotspots became flaky since iOS 13 ?

Hi Folks,

I've experienced this myself and have had reports from others.

Since iOS 13 my nodes running the HamVoIP image are struggling to connect to the Hotspot on my iPhone.

Apple made some changes including the new "Allow Others to Join" switch in the Personal Hotspot Settings page - I think they are authenticating Apple devices in iCloud.

So far my experimentation finds that on my phone, if it is connected to WiFi the node completely fails to connect to the Hotspot.  If I move away from WiFi so the iPhone is only on the 5G/4G network the node will eventually connect but not until it's rebooted once or twice.

I'm wondering if others have experienced something similar ?

If not, I may have mucked up something in my installation ...
