Chris,
If you're wanting the 840 to generate the transmitted PL tone, that
doesn't have anything to do with HamVoIP/AllStar----the tone generation is
built into the repeater itself.
If the 840 in not turning TX tone generation on when you key PTT, that is
probably a programming or hardware signaling issue. I seem to recall
there was a separate pin on the DB-25 connector which had be asserted to
enable PL tone?? ....But, I don't recall for sure. I haven't had my hands
on and 840 in years. Someone on the repeater builder group might have an
immediate answer?
