Greetings,
I took an older and non-upgradable router out of service and replaced it
with a Netgate router. It runs PFsense.
I added Port Forward to the AllStar (Hamvoip) RPi with port 4569.
I added Dynamic DNS Client matching my DNS alias service.
AllStar (Hamvoip) is current.
I assigned the node to a fixed IP.
>From Supermon2, I am not able to connect to any other nodes.
When I attempt to connect to my node, 46148, from DVSwitch, it doesn't.
Obviously I missed something!
Any hints as to what I may have missed in my router setup or otherwise?
Can you connect to node 46148?
I did manage to connect to another node once (using Supermon2) but no
longer.
Thank you!
Best regards,
Fred N7FMH
PS. There is a lesson here! Check service before changing the infrastructure
it relies on. What I failed to do was check to make sure I could connect
using my older router before taking it down. I had not connected from my
phone in over a month. But, I found I missed a couple of other items too! :(
