Kevin,
Are you trying to adjust asterisk (simpleusb) settings with the FOB
removed? If so, that'll mix everything up. As long as you aren't
adjusting asterisk and plug the FOBs back into the same ports, in the same
order, it should be okay. If you've got multiple FOBs, you can't swap
them around, etc., they must always get plugged into the same port.
The best plan is to plug the CM1xy audio FOBs into specific USB ports on
the RPi and then leave them alone. Use "free" USB ports for other
peripherals (like a keyboard).
