[arm-allstar] DTMF decode and emphasis

I got it figured out.
I am using a CDM1250 with the RIM-MAXTRAC.
I had all the audio set flat in CPS as I was originally going to use this radio for packet.
When I started adding more personalities, they followed that config.
I changed all my analog personalities to Pre-emphasis in the Emphasis selection and now the audio going in sounds the same as the audio coming out on the parrot and another receiver.
Before it was muffled even with pre-emphasis enabled in simpleusb and pre-emphasis disabled in the personality. Now I have it disabled in simpleusb but de-emphasis is enabled allowing DTMF to decode.

You did not say what node radio you were using or how you have it connected? If the radio does not do de-emphasis and requires de-emphasis in Hamvoip then yes you need to turn it on. The fact that you say DTMF decodes properly only with it on would indicate that it needs to be on. The audio will sound shrill or lacking in lows with it off if it should be on.
