[arm-allstar] Yellow Box Node Shutdown

As I mentioned previously, i do need to power down my node when I want to listen to the broadcast band (due to qrm that buzzes in time with the flashing red LED). Until I solve this qrm issue, shutdown of the node is needed. 
Without adding additional hardware and not wanting to just pull the plug, is there a software method to put the node in a state where it is ok to cut the power to it?
