[arm-allstar] People cutting out

Dave,

Not sure what might be happening.... Does your UV-82 unkey entirely? If
so, take a look at the simpleusb-tune-menu program, option V (the letter
Vee). This will show the real-time PTT signal (and other signals). Does
PTT drop here, too?

If PTT doesn't drop in simpleusb-tune-menu, check the UV-82 transmitter
timeout setting (using the CHIRP software, etc.). Is the timeout too
short?

If all these setting are okay, in your /etc/asterisk/rpt.conf file, what
is the setting of the tx_timeout parameter?

off) for a couple of seconds and it comes back talking as normal. Is there
a setting that has to be changed in timeout??? I have a pi3 connected to a
UV-82 w/ARA-1 soundboard.
