Hi George,
You may want to follow up directly with George, WB3DZZ, the manufacturer
of the Yellow Box nodes. His website is here: https://technobygeorge.com/
He is very friendly and responsive.
I don't personally have a Yellow Box Node, but I have systems using all
the hardware in one.
Since the RFI you're experiencing is in the medium frequency bands, I
would expect RFI leakage from the AC power adapter to your home power
wiring; probably directly conducted via the AC power supply wires.
A simple test for this would be to power the Yellow Box from a battery
source briefly, listening for noise. If it's gone, power from a different
AC power supply---like a bench 13.8V power supply, etc., and make sure the
noise is still gone.

> Hi All,
For the first time last night, my yellow box node is causing horrendous
noise when running my Perseus SDR software, especially below 3 MHz
(including the Broadcast Band (AM). I discovered the noise was in
perfect timing to one of the flashing red LEDs in the yellow box. As
soon as I unplugged the power, the noise immediately stopped. I do have
ferrites, that I added last November, on the power cable.
I took a portable radio outside and the interference was not present.Â
The Perseus antenna is at least 30 feet from the yellow box.
Any suggestions? Thanks to the HamVoip team for their continued support
and development of this system.
Good weekend to all.
