Well, after much work, and the help of some experts, the problems were solved.  There are certain lines of code that have to be entered when using a Rim-Lite Alinco that are not part of the entries in nano /etc/asterisk/simpleusb.conf files, namely txmixa, and txmixb.  Carrierform had to be changed from the default usbinvert to usb.  There were some other configurations that needed adjustment to bring the audio hash down from the hash to an understandable voice and then further adjustments to get the audio down to an acceptable level.  Thanks to the help of Chuck, K6PBT, Mark, K7IZA, and Ron, WB6IAG with the on air help and adjustments to the system.
