Tom,
I am glad that helped. Also be aware that George, WB3DZZ,
TechnoByGeorge.com has been making what he calls shutdown boards for quite
awhile. This allows you to use a small battery to power the Pi through a
shutdown if the power is removed either on purpose or accidentally. This is
handy for a portable or mobile operation. The SW to support these boards is
also part of the hamvoip distribution.
