You can uncomment out the dtmf function in rpi.conf FUNCTIONS section, it’s default is B1. Then use your radio to shutdown.
But there is what your looking for in the How to’s.

is there a free GPIO pin? I have a python routine that uses a SPST button to initiate a "soft shutdown" routine. I know that Supermon provides this function, but I may not always have a PC close at hand.
