[arm-allstar] Issue with Sound FOB & RPi-3

Rachid,
That was good information. The fact that you can change the COS setting
and see the change indicates that something is holding the COS line low.
It might be shorted to ground? Can you check the physical COS line coming
from the FOB and exercise it open and grounded in usbinvert? When you are
in usbinvert the V option should show clear if that line is open and keyed
when you ground it. This is independent of the radio. If you cannot get
that to work then you might have a bad FOB. If you can then the radio is
not putting out the high/low COS signal.
You can also check the PTT by going into the Asterisk client and issuing
the command susb key and susb unkey. This should key and unkey your radio.
I am curious how you were able to modify a potted FOB? You need to be able
to get directly to the CM1xx chips pins to bring out COS/PTT. If you really
want to do it yourself there are better unpotted FOBS out there.
What info is shown for lsusb? It would look something like this -
Bus 001 Device 005: ID 0d8c:013a C-Media Electronics, Inc.
This would tell us what chip is potted. Maybe it is not even the right
series chip.
