Jerry,

  On the DMK/URI pins 19 and 20 are connected together inside so not sure
why you had that problem. You really do not need to connect them together
on the connected DB25. It has just been the way many have done it putting a
blob of solder across the two pins and then connecting any grounds there. I
guess whatever works for you!
