The fix for the loss of the admin menu for some of you who updated in the
last day is now out for download. Users who have not updated to the new
kernel can now safely update and users who updated and lost the menu at
boot should login to your server and at the Linux prompt type - admin.sh
- then update again with item 1. This will fix the problem and subsequent
reboots will bring you to the admin menu. Remember if you are doing the
kernel update for the first time be patient as on slower systems it may
take awhile so please wait. Also you must reboot manually at your earliest
convenience after the update to install the new kernel. You can check the
kernel version on your servers at the version option on the admin menu or
at the Linux prompt type - uname -r The result for the new kernel is
4.14.97-1-ARCH.

Sorry for the problem but in the scheme of things it was minor but I know
users are use to the menu for its convenience and it is important to do
updates from item 1 on the menu. This particular problem for some unknown
reason copied the .bash_profile to a .bash_profile.pacsave file deleting
the original file. A work around that will ensure the file is always there
so this should not happen again.
