I'm running the latest hamvoip software and have a couple of questions. I've searched the archives and can't find an answer to my query. I auto-connect via cron jobs to a daily net and also a weekly net and want to suspend the tailmessages during the nets. I noticed that in rpt.conf there are 2 [controlstates]
;statenum = copcmd,[copcmd]...0 = rptena,lnkena,apena,totena,ufena,noicd ; Normal operation1 = rptena,linkdis,apdis,totena,ufdis,noice ; Repeater only operation
Are these what I need to kill tailmessages before the net and restart them after the net and can they be started and stopped with a cron job and how do I use them or format the syntax? If anyone has a link or suggestion that I can read myself I don't care to put in the read time to implement what I'm looking to do or another way to do it that I can't figure out please let me know.
Happy Holidays & 73
