I have a private node that is attached to an IC-7000 that I have made “phone patch” scripts for to change channels on the radio. I want to be able to speak the frequency back up the connections to be able to hear and verify the frequency before using it. I’m using speaktext.sh to do it now with
speaktext.sh “ ${FREQ}” ${NODE} where FREQ is read from the radio with rigctl.
Using this the frequency is spoken out the radio (not wanted) and spoken to iaxrpt if connected (wanted) but does not speak it back up to another connected node like my portable node or 220 node on the same network (wanted - I use remote-command.sh and/or *4 to get to the private node for control).
Is there a way to have it speak text back up the connected nodes and not out the radio?
