[arm-allstar] Ip address displays in browser not domname name

Hi
an domain name was acquired and i have it redirecting as needed to the supermoon page.
however in the address bar of the browser it displays the ip address after the redirect not the domain name.
is this something i need to configure in the Apache in the pi3 or is this a configuration error in the DNS at my provider? 
what was found on the internet about this  was confusing to me.
