This comment line in the script -

Should read

The bit can of course be changed but you have to take into account that
some bits are reserved. Bit 3 for sure is PTT and should never be used. Bit
4 will be used for COS LED if activated in rpt.conf. So as long as you are
not using any other bits you have bits 1,2 on the CM108 and 1,2,5,6,7,8 on
the cm119 with possibly bit 4 on both if it is not being used for a COS
LED.
