[arm-allstar] Login Problems

Just to clarify here. I don’t know what you’re using to login Rory, but a lot of clients either do not put in a username, or they will take the local user and give you the wrong login; one that doesn’t exist on the Linux/Allstar system. If it is asking for login: then the response is root. If it says something else like $user and prompts for a password, you need to specify root as the username at an earlier stage in the login process from your client. From another Unix or Linux box, it would be 'ssh -p 222 root at 192.168.x.xx <mailto:root at 192.168.x.xx>' With Putty or a similar client from Windows, you can specify username and port in the config. Hope this helps.
