[arm-allstar] pacman and installed packages

Hi Doug,

After running pacman -Sy hamvoip-packet-tools:

The response from running Direwolf:
         [root at AllStar ~]# direwolf
         Dire Wolf version 1.4

I have repeated this a few times since last October and have always see the
same revision. I was expecting to see 1.5b or something similar. Hmm, maybe
the revision in the code does not reflect the actual revision.

Back in Oct 2017, David had looked at the beta release. He mentioned he
would add it next time. About a week ago David mentioned he would add the
latest revision. I did notice John WB2OSZ added changes in January 2018. So
an update might be useful at this point anyway.

I am very suspicious of my own skills so I expect that I missed something
obvious.

Best regards,
Fred N7FMH

Fred,

If you want to look at what is in a package without actually downloading it
the program - pkgfile will do that. You would need to download that small
package first - pacman -Sy pkgfile - then

 pkgfile -l hamvoip-packet-tools | grep direwolf

But that does not tell you a version of the actual program. It would be best
to download the package and then see what version it is.

I thought that Dave just updated this by request not long ago so it might be
up to date already. If not I am sure he will.
