Mike,

 Once I sent that I saw you had the issue in the subject. If the 888 goes
into TX and stays there I would say there is a problem on the PTT line
somewhere. You do need to use a FET and resistor as shown in the schematic
between the FOB and the radio. You can't just connect the output of the FOB
to the PTT of the 888. In rpt.conf the duplex setting should be 1 -
duplex=1.
