[arm-allstar] Hamvoip image appears to be corrupted

Over the past two days I have attempted to configure a new node, one in addition to my existing node. Using a monitor, HDMI interface and USP keyboard, with two known good microSD cards, two known good Raspberry Pi 3b (not the +), countless reflashs with two different image writers, many fresh downloads from the Hamvoip.org site, I cannot get the image to function as I would expect and certainly not as I previously experienced with my existing node. Upon entry, I am asked for an ID and password then immediately directed to the script asking if I want to do an initial configuration. If I respond with ‘No’, I am returned to the display requesting a sign on. No matter what known good ID and password I enter, the display briefly flashes some lines of text and returns to the sign-on request. Following a re-flash, if I choose to proceed with the initial script, all goes well until such time as I opt to leave the configuration process. Again, instead of an OS prompt, I am asked for an ID and password and again get the flash display and a return to the sign-on request. Am I missing something or is the image corrupted?
