Control is through a serial port(dev/ttys1) and audio, PTT, COS, is via a
pigtail I added. The board in the 271 has connection points for audio, PTT
and COS. Here are the connection points:
PKS = PTT (active low)
SQC = COS (active high of +5)
PR9 = Receive audio *
PKD = Transmit audio *

How are you interfacing to the Kenwood?
I am still very much in the learning stage.

Subject: [arm-allstar] Remote Base question

I am looking at replacing my ACID node running on a PC at the repeater site
with a Pi3 running the HamVoip image. I currently have two nodes on the
ACID PC. One is connected to a multi-port repeater controller and the other
is connected to a Kenwood TM-271A and is configured as a frequency-agile
remote base.

My question is: Can the HamVoip distro directly control the TM-271A like
ACID can? I can't find it documented anywhere. HamLib doesn't list it as a
supported radio either. An even better option would be the TM-G707 but I'll
settle for the TM-271A.

Thanks
