Mike, another thing I have run into is probably dependent on the carrier. I have T-Mobile and for some reason a lot of my apps aren’t able to reach some global up addresses, I think routing problems or either IP V4/V6 issues. Zoiper is one of those, along with echolink, ssh term, SFTP, and VNC viewer with the same issue. What I end up doing to get around that is make a VPN connection to somewhere and then all those apps work fine. What I use for the VPN is a RPi with SoftEther installed, one at my office and one at home which both have fixed IP addresses. I also have SoftEther setup on a Vultr $5 a month VPS for doing that kind of thing.
If you want to contact me off list I’ll be glad to set up a Zoiper login on my AllStar node so you can test with one end known working. Or even a VPN login to see if that’s the problem.
