Anton,

You need to run a different script. The myip.sh script only prints the 
current RPi2/3 IP address, it doesn't announce it.  For example:

[root at kb4fxc-portable asterisk]# myip.sh 
192.168.132.159


To announce your IP address over a node, use:

[root at kb4fxc-portable asterisk]# sayip.sh 
No node number supplied - sayip.sh <node> 

[root at kb4fxc-portable asterisk]# sayip.sh 41331

...And, if you supplied a LOCAL node number (41331 in my case), you'll 
hear the IP address announced.
