 Hi Doug,  I have replied to you off list with the unmodified ezstream.xml file
Thank you and 73,

OK, I took your config and ran it here. I think you have spaces where spaces should not be. I am not sure this is just in the translation to you copy/pasting it or it is really there. The beginning define has to exactly match the closing define -

<svrinfobitrate>16</ svrinfobitrate>

should be

<svrinfobitrate>16</ svrinfobitrate>

Once I corrected all of the extra spaces and ran the manual qvc line I did not see the errors.

[root at Pi3-test allmon2]# ezstream -qvc /etc/ezstream.xml
ezstream[4214]: default: stream has no configuration

Meaning this user/pass is wrong or you have not configured it. I suspect you masked or changed the user/pass in the example.

Hi Doug,
I was pretty sure that was what I had done, but just to be sure, I did it again (see below)

Do you have anything else I can try?

 Stephen,

  I have never seen this happen but it seems libshout does not like something about ezstream. The ezstream download is now in the hamvoip repository. This is an updated version. Did you download it this way?

pacman -Syu hamvoip-ezstream

If not try downloading this version.

Good Morning,
I am trying to get Broadcastify running on my node.  I have made sure I have the most recent updates applied to the hamvoip image (RPi2-3 Version 1.5rc4-14 Allstar - January 22, 2018 - KB4FXC, WA3DSP).  I think I followed the how-to to the letter, and have gone back over it several times. I get to the test stage and always get the following;
# ezstream -qvc /etc/ezstream.xml
ezstream: /usr/lib/libcrypto.so.1.0.0: no version information available (required by /usr/local/lib/libshout.so.3)
ezstream: /usr/lib/libssl.so.1.0.0: no version information available (required by /usr/local/lib/libshout.so.3)
ezstream[15192]: default: stream has no configuration
My ezstream.xml file looks like this;
]# cat /etc/ezstream.xml
<ezstream>
    <url>http://audio1. radioreference.com:80/ hfkhsdkhfsk</url>
    <sourcepassword> jlkjsdjfldsjf</sourcepassword>
    <format>MP3</format>
    <filename>stdin</filename>
    <svrinfoname>VA3KKF 443.9750 MHz Repeater</svrinfoname>
    <svrinfourl>http://www. radioreference.com/</ svrinfourl>
    <svrinfogenre>Amateur Radio</svrinfogenre>
    <svrinfodescription>VA3KKF 443.9750 MHz Repeater</svrinfodescription>
    <svrinfobitrate>16</ svrinfobitrate>
    <svrinfochannels>1</ svrinfochannels>
    <svrinfosamplerate>22050</ svrinfosamplerate>
    <svrinfopublic>1</ svrinfopublic>
</ezstream>

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?  Any and all assistance is appreciated.
Thank you and 73,
Stephen - va3kxp
