[arm-allstar] Audio Drop Out

I've adjusted the Rx level up and down including voice peaks at 5Khz with no change in this behavior.  I took a quick look and did not find a PL output level adjustment on the IC7000.  Maybe I will try a different tone and see if that changes anything.  I'm currently using 127.3.   I also mostly use the IC7000 on HF but when I have used it on repeaters I have not noticed this type of problem, only with my Allstar node.   I do have the AB5N mic mod on the IC7000 so I don't know if that impacts anything or not.  I may tweak mic settings and see if that does anything.  Thanks.  Chris - W6CS - 73

Chris,

Make sure your rx level - item 2 in simpleusb-tune-menu is set correctly.
It should show peaks to 5Khz and occasionally beyond. The 7000 may have
lower output PL level than the other radios you are using. I am not sure if
that level is programmable on the 7000 or not. I have two IC7000's but I
never use them for Allstar and rarely outside of HF. Sometimes you will
fine a radio that just won't work reliably because of levels or slightly
off tones. Often not much you can do about it.
