Chris,
Make sure your rx level - item 2 in simpleusb-tune-menu is set correctly.
It should show peaks to 5Khz and occasionally beyond. The 7000 may have
lower output PL level than the other radios you are using. I am not sure if
that level is programmable on the 7000 or not. I have two IC7000's but I
never use them for Allstar and rarely outside of HF. Sometimes you will
fine a radio that just won't work reliably because of levels or slightly
off tones. Often not much you can do about it.
