This is true... I didn't think about that... I gave up on URI cables. Which is one of the reasons I fell in love with the repeater builder little postage stamp sized URI that plugs right into that little 16 pin header - no cable, except for the USB cable. No worries, no muss, no fuss... Just plug and play!

I have bought more than a dozen of them so far and have put them on GR1225 and RKR1225 repeaters all over the place down here. Out of all of those, I only had ONE failure out of the box and they quickly replaced it.
I liked the DMK URI's, that's what I started with - but these fit inside the GR1225's repeater cabinet with no big bulky connectors to fiddle with. And no worries about home made cables either! Just plug and play!
