Barry,
As pointed out they should be on different iax ports but I doubt that is
the issue.
There is a script called checkreg.sh in the distribution. It reads using
BOTH file and DNS lookup and display all nodes on your server. In my case
shown here I only use DNS. Have you switched to DNS? Is this a registration
problem or a node lookup problem? What shows at the Allstar status server
is really insignificant in that it can be wrong and is really meaningless
as to whether your node is actually working. If you node is registered and
has the ability to lookup nodes it is working.
check_reg.sh returns this kind of data -
[root at 27225-HUB supermon]# check_reg.sh
Node - 40561 at IP address 67.165.29.63:4569 is Registered
DNS lookup returns - +OK|radio at 67.165.29.63:4569/40561,67.165.29.63
also if you want to check if yours or anyone's node is registered use
dns-query
dns-query 40561
+OK|radio at 67.165.29.63:4569/40561,67.165.29.63
or for file lookup
grep 40561 /tmp/rpt-extnodes
If you don't have the info on setting up for beta DNS let me know and I
will send it to you.
