[arm-allstar] cwid for rf link

Hi LaRoy,
I'm not aware of any specific tone frequency or amplitude requirements for
ID'ing ham systems, except that part 97.119(a) states: "for the purpose of
clearly making the source of the transmissions from the station known to
those receiving the transmissions." ....So, this implies that the ID
must be clearly audible.
Also worth nothing that 97.119(b)(1) states that the CW speed must be no
faster than 20WPM.
In other radio services, the CW characteristics are more clearly defined.
See part 90.425(b) for land mobile. Here, the specs are:
90.425(b)(1): "...shall be adjusted to produce 40 percent +/-10 percent
of the maximum permissible modulation or deviation level."
90.425(b)(3): "The frequency of the keyed tone comprising the
identification signal shall be 1200 +/-800Hz"
As for the rxnotch parameter, yes, it can be used notch a CW ID out.
...Just some thoughts.
