[arm-allstar] DTMF commands are not executed

Hi,
I've setup a private node 1999 using latest image from hamvoip site for RPI.
I'm using DMK URIx (latest B model) to interface a Yaesu FT-4V radio.
Connection is via the speaker/mic connection.
No COS is utilised and I've configured it as 'no' under COSFROM in
simpleusb-tune utility.
While TX works fine (I hear time announcements on the hour), I'm having
issues with DTMF commands. They are not executing.
When I enter the the Asterisk CLI, I see the DTMF tones decoded correctly.
This is why I'm puzzled by the fact that commands like *81 and other do
nothing!
The only exception is *82 which is causing the system to run a script.
I've went over the rpt.conf and all relevant sections like 'functions' look
OK.
And duplex=1.

Any help on sorting this out would be appreciated.
