  /var/log/asterisk/messages is always a good thing to check. Use admin 
menu 9 to get a root shell, then "tail -f -n 100 
/var/log/asterisk/messages" to view in realtime as you attempt a 
connection, then eventually <ctrl>-c to quit.

A successful connection to your "one node" and an unsuccessful attempt 
to any other nodes are worthy of comparison. If you see anything 
questionable then a copy-n-paste reply will help others to help you.
