I am testing an intersiting solution for powering, conditionning, and battery backup the rpi.
I bought a tzumi PocketJuice 12000 mAh (around 20$ at Costco) and plug it between the Ac adaptor and the RPI.
It provides continuous output on the main output port, whatever the pocketjuice unit is plugged to the wall adaptor or not.
Just be sure to use the main port. The second port seems to give a power glitch when AC goes out.
Since the unit is capable of delivering 4.8A and needs only 2A for charging, it would be a perfect solution for those mountain top repeaters that suffer from instable ac power.
I would appreciate yours comments
