Doug,

 Where is that link referenced? The backup howto on the hamvoip.org web
page does go to the correct place. You are looking at an old file that
should be removed. The new file starts like this -
Backing up hamvoip Allstar
The backup procedure and filenames have recently changed as of a hamvoip
update on March 23, 2018. The image backup files have been removed. It was
never a good idea to image backup a running and mounted Linux system.
Furthermore the integrity of the image backups would only be known if the
user actually booted the backup which was rarely done.
