[arm-allstar] Moving a node...

Thanks Doug,
Since my repeater network supports emergency work, I went ahead and defined all that stuff in the bottom of the rpt.conf file just for the possible instance of us not being able to reach allstarlink.org.
Ya know, just in case California falls off into the ocean or something... :)
I am guessing that not ALL of their code is open source? I am also guessing that somebody like me with a BUNCH of nodes couldn't build his own registration server either... I'm just spitballin' here... But distributed and back-up processing would sure make for a more flexible system when stuff hits the fan like Hurricanes and such - which we seem to deal with a lot over the years down near Houston and the gulf coast...

Bill,
Our indications is that this is not going to get any better from the
Allstar side. Things are a mess over there and someday the truth may come
out about what really happened after Jim's death. Anyhow hang in there, a
fix is in the works from us.
Also as you know and I would like to pass onto others that Allstar does not
have to be registered to work. In an emergency you can define IP addresses
or URL's in the [nodes] stanza in rpt.conf. Both ends need routing to each
other including ports. This is the port defined in the iax.conf file
bindport= statement. It is a pain to do if you have lots of nodes but one
way to get around connection problems temporarily.
