The extent doesn't matter if Asterisk will play it. In this case it was
converted to ul. It could be a wav file of a different name. The reason for
the sox conversion is to make the original wav file 8K mono as shown in the
sox line. If you create a wav file with another program the sox line will
ensure it will play on asterisk.
