[arm-allstar] More Cellular Data Re: vpn and port forwarding

The 6100D has at times been labeled the worst router in the world! I

*t has ample features but many do not work. Just Google netgear 6100D and
you will see all the problems!*


*That being said the test I made this evening was using the 6100D on Sprint
LTE with Allstar and it definitely worked with incoming IAX and SSH. It
also works fine for echolink as it has been used for that for quite some
time. I have no way to check IRLP but since these both work I would expect
it would also.*


*The well known problem with the 6100D is you can't port forward more than
one IP address due to a bug in the router. This has nothing to do with
Sprint but rather a brain dead router.  If you completely take out one
device from the port forwarding you can add another but only one device
(IP) at a time. If you try to add another IP it just reverts back to the
first IP. This is what I did tonight to test. I took Echolink port forwards
completely out and added Allstars., tested, then deleted Allstar and put
Echolink back in.*


*The 6100D is an old router and the latest Sprint replacements do not have
wired Ethernet only wireless to your devices. This is actually not bad as
the devices are right there and it is secure. It also offers a level of
protection from transients caused by power surges and lightning as there is
no wired connection to other devices. Important at repeater sites.*


*The Franklin R910 and the ZTE Warp are two 4G/LTE modem/routers that
Sprint offers to buy or rent.*

*BTW if you think you need a static public IP which I doubt Sprint
apparently offerers then at reasonable rates.*
