Using pacman, you can easily install and setup ddclient on
HamVoip/ArchLinux and then pick your own free DDNS service to use.
Here's one place to start looking for more info (search for more using
"ddclient archlinux"): https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=55975
Doing it this way, your DDNS always reflects your node's current
external IP, even if you take it on the road, or move, or use your phone
as a hotspot, etc etc.
Also, at least for the meantime, the volunteer(?) unsanctioned DDNS in
the format: 99999.asnode.org (where 99999 is node#) still seems to be
working automatically for registered/active nodes on-line. Not even sure
if you can disable that.
NB: Doug and David do not recommend relying upon ASNODE.ORG.
