[arm-allstar] Fresh img file not loading dns correctly?

I feel dumb here,

If I take a new image file and load a fresh hamvoip img and then boot, and then select option 1 (using Ethernet connected to my modem)  update fails.  I open bash shell interface and I can ping 8.8.8.8 dns no problem, but cannot get to anything like www.google.com  or updates.

Using dynamic setting, I’m pulling a IP and such from my router this all looks normal.

What dummy mistake am I making?
