Thank you for attempting to connect.

What can I learn from this besides the connection failed? This is new to me.

Thanks!

Best regards,

Fred N7FMH

Greetings,

I have my 46148 node, with no radio, running and am attempting to do
something with iaxrpt. I think I am correct in assuming I can eventually use
iaxrpt to connect to my 46148 node and then connect to another node.

http://stats.allstarlink.org/nodeinfo.cgi?node=46148

Can anyone connect to it?

I changed the RPi to a static address and configured my router to forward to
port 4569 UDP. I am curious what happens if my ISP changes my IP address. It
seems like I have to update iaxrpt if that happens. Either that or set up a
DNS alias?

I modified iax.conf and entensions.conf per iaxrpt-config.pdf. I assumed
this had to be done on the RPi since that is where I found the files.

In iaxrpt, I see the following. Do I need to create another node just for
it?

Registration: Not registered

Node: Not connected

In iaxrpt, I tried the *346148 and nothing happened. I have no idea what to
expect. So I know I have missed some important points. Please assist!

Thanks!
