Working with an experimental integrated fob/radio USB hardware device a
couple days back (Oct 27th eve), we got a series of similar FIFO
Overflow messages while watching the * client:
[timestamp] ERROR[428]: chan_simpleusb.c:2191 insert_into_fifo: FIFO
overflow!
Messages continued repeating every second. I took a quick snap with my
camera phone, so do have the exact syntax. Running HAMVOIP on a PI3 with
latest update (think it was the Oct 27th one) and only one USB device.
Has not not recurred since hard reset and further testing (aka:
flailing), device is still developing in prototype. Fiddled with USB
tuning menu quite a bit due to other issues.
But the FIFO monster is lurking out there in other places. Thanks for
explaining what the general message indicates.
This is neither a trick nor a treat (grin),
